Day 66 - 68
I did not originally have a lot to blog about until I recently came across so many blogs on weddings. I have found some very interesting, and I had no clue how much information is out there. I have listed on my links some of my favorite ones and I recommend checking them out. Some have great ideas and have inspired me. Here is one of my favorite pictures I have found and I so wish I had seen this before and I really would of been inspired! I can't wait to use some of the ones I have found in our wedding =)

Day 55 - Day 60
I am very happy to announce that we have a florist!!! Her name is Jennifer Pavlovich, of Jennifer Pavlovich Designs, a floral couture studio. I had found her through watching one of my many wedding shows, this one was "Platinum Weddings" on WeTv. I loved her work and decided to contact her. We met and talked about our vision for our wedding and I felt that she knew exactly what I was looking for. Also what I love about her work, is her creativity and designs. I am looking forward to seeing what her ideas are and seeing just how everything turns out! Check out her website and see other weddings she has done. I will post a couple of my favorites.

Day 50 - Day 52
Yesterday I traveled to San Antonio to meet with Greg and of course for some cake tasting. =) I first want to say the meeting with Greg was very productive and I even got the chance to look at some samples for our Save the Date cards, and I have feeling they are going to look smashing!! Then we were off to taste some cake at The Ultimate Cheesecake Bakery, and it went very well. Tom, the owner and husband of the woman who bakes all the wedding cakes, was very nice and professional. I enjoyed the cakes VERY much, especially the lemon cake and red velvet, and I have a feeling we will be having them design our cakes!!!
Also we have decided to go with Chiavari Chairs for the reception, which I am happy with =) I am happy to say that things are slowly coming together and as long as we take our time it will all be great!
I must admit though that it is harder than I thought to bring our vision to life, but at the same time interesting meeting new people and seeing all the different options. For instance, I had the pleasure of meeting a florist in Austin, Jennifer Pavlovich, and we hit it off right away! I had a great time meeting her and talking to her about our vision with decor and the flowers, especially feeling like she understood very well what I wanted for our wedding day. I cannot wait for Anthony to meet her and hopefully he will like her as well. =)

Day 46 - Day 49
This past weekend i was blessed to celebrate my 27th birthday. It was an amazing birthday and I want to send a special "thank you" to all my friends and family for their wishes. A very special "thank you" to Morgan, Jason, Stuart, Brian and my wonderful fiance for a great dinner/game night!!!
I can't believe how much my life has changed in the last four years and I cannot wait for the next year, and to see all of our dreams come true. I will be in San Antonio for a couple days to meet with Greg and hopefully have some great cake tastings. I will let you all know how the cake tastings go!! Hope everyone has a great week!

Day 39 - Day 45
I know I have not blogged in a while, but I have actually been trying to take a little mini break from all the wedding whirlwind. Don't get me wrong, I am constantly thinking of it and little ideas I come up with, but just trying to do some other things around here. For instance, organizing our new place, which by the way we bought an amazing new piece of furniture from Pottery Barn, and I absolutely LOVE IT!!
Speaking of love, I have also been thinking about it, since I am SO in love with my dear fiance, and I have realized what a big sap I have become, crying at the littlest things. Lately I have been watching one of my favorite movies, "Pride and Prejudice", over and over again. I love Keira Knightely in it and the way they speak with their English accents, and the innocence of the era.
Jane Austen captures love in such a beautiful way and I just fall in love with love all over again every time I watch it. It makes me think how very blessed I am to have met the love of my life and to start this new chapter of our lives. I recommend Pride and Prejudice whole heartedly, and even if you have seen it watch it again!!! =) I love, love!!

Day 37 - 38
Yesterday we had our engagement photo session with Andy Peterson, of Studio563 and it was AMAZING!! Andy is a great guy and we had a blast walking around downtown Austin with him. He took us on an adventure, and it was nothing but interesting seeing Austin in a completely different way. We were in alleys, walking on top of parking garages, and other interesting places; I cannot wait to see the photos!!!! =) Andy really put as ease and it felt more like we made a new friend!! I can do nothing but rave about them and I will tell any of you, to really consider him for any kind of professional photos you wish to take, whether they be family, graduation, engagement, bridal, or wedding day, Andy is one of the best out there!!! I promise to post some of the pictures as soon as we get to see them!! Again if you are interesting in seeing the work of Studio563 check them out here.
