Day Three -

As a bride-to-be, I have also begun watching many shows about weddings and brides, and let me say that I will not be a "bridezilla"!!!  =)  One of the many reasons why we hired Greg to take that pressure off and for him to take control on the big day.  I also have been searching online and through dozens of magazines trying to find exactly what we would like our wedding to look like and let me tell you there are soooo many options!!!!  But here are just some of the few ideas and looks I do prefer.  =)

Day Two - Location, Location, Location.

Today has been a bit hectic, not so much on the side of running around, more on the side of trying to lock down a church location.  Our biggest struggle has been to find a church that will allow us to have a service time before 7pm and we seem to have found one!  The University of Incarnate Word Chapel is where we want to get married.  This Chapel is absolutely beautiful and has recently been renovated completely and the result is nothing but stunning!!!  I could not be more excited about this location and if everything goes well we shall be having our ceremony there.  So please, say a little prayer that everything works out with this location.  

Day One - The beginning

I have started this blog in an effort to share my ideas, thoughts, stories, and my own personal journey to my wedding day.  Anthony proposed on May 7, 2008 and we have both been excited to start the planning!  We are both looking to get married in the Summer of 2009 and are currently searching for the perfect church and reception venue.  This past Memorial Weekend we went on a hunt to find these venues and were overwhelmed with so many options!  Finally we both agreed we needed help and found a great solution: a wedding planner!!!  We met with some different companies and found the right fit for both of us, with Events by Reese.  Greg is amazing and seemed to understand what we wanted for our wedding day.  I am excited and thrilled to have him on our side and to help us, especially since we live in Austin and the wedding will be in San Antonio, TX.  Words cannot express how excited I am for this journey, together with Anthony, our families and friends.
